The assignment was to create eight mobile commercial kitchens that could be used at multiple outdoor events, starting with Super Bowl City in San Francisco for the Super Bowl 50 celebration. These units needed the flexibility to prepare a variety of different cuisines and menus, not mere food trucks. The challenge was to create a self-sufficient unit with all of the required utilities, including gas, electric, clean and waste water tanks, while maintaining a modular mobile unit that could be packed up and shipped anywhere in the world. By using shipping containers, industrial grade appliances and innovative engineered solutions, we were able to create the commercial kitchen units worthy of any chefs’ needs. Six mobile bars accompanied the kitchens.
